We are sorry to inform that we are cancelling this month’s T3 session due to unforeseen circumstances.
Nevertheless, Harvinder is joining us at our event on 28th July 2010 as a panellist.
Heads up for next event: http://apps.socialwalk.com/events/413-innovation-led-economy-the-malaysian-experience
Stay tune for our announcement for the event.
A truly world class Malaysian company is rare indeed, especially one that is a world leader in its field. As the company that provides the Control and Communications Systems for the SMART Tunnel, one of the longest multi-purpose tunnels in the world and an engineering marvel of its own, the company has projects all over the world and is the largest energy and automation engineering firm in South East Asia.
Founded by a Techie turned Entrepreneur the company, Incontrol Tech (iTech), was recently acquired and merged with PSI Group, one of the largest firms in Europe and listed on the German Stock Exchange. It would be a dream come true for most Malaysian Entrepreneurs to be acquired by such a firm and this is testimony to the leadership and entrepreneurial skills of the founder of iTec – Harvinder Singh.
It was 13 years ago that Harvinder switched from a comfortable regional manager’s job to start iTec and he has not looked back since. In 2008 in recognition of his achievements Harvinder was voted Ernst & Young’s Technology Entrepreneur of the Year and also received The Malaysian Innovation Excellence Award.
He is not only a successful entrepreneur but also contributes to society by being actively involved in community work. His passion also runs into leading a Scottish bagpipe band, the only one in the world run by a Sikh and in running a non-profit school, Sekolah Sri Dasmesh in Kuala Lumpur.
TeAM is pleased that Harvinder has agreed to share his experience with us. Click HERE for his profile.
