It is early to predict the overall success of Creative Multimedia sector in Malaysia. Here we have industry experts to share the lessons in improving our talent. Being there done that in Los Angeles and Shanghai, together with the global heavy weights, lets come together and see how we can all get a piece in this exciting sector.
The DNA-TeAM Disrupt series caters to anyone who has a passion for technology, with two hours of sharing and learning, and networking and camaraderie, but begins with an interactive panel discussion on subjects and issues of interest to Technopreneurs.
The panelists include Leon Tan, Executive Director of Tripod Entertainment, and Chun Chong Leong, who has worked with Electronic Arts in Los Angeles and Shanghai, and headed Disney Interactive’s studio in Shanghai. A third panelist has yet to confirm and we will update readers when that happens.
Leon currently heads the Tripod Group together with other partners, based in Kuala Lumpur with operations in Jakarta and Los Angeles. Commonly known as the guy behind this huge release of Goliath, he began his career in corporate finance at Usaha Tegas, held regional management positions at Lycos Asia Ltd., established Lycos Asia’s Indonesia and Philippines operations, and later led its global business development and strategic alliance efforts based in Singapore and Shanghai.
Being there done that in Los Angeles and Shanghai, together with the global heavy weights, Chun Chong Leong has some interesting viewpoints especially about the quality of the teaching in our multimedia and animation programs.
